Fired at high temperatures, these ceramics are incredibly durable, resistant to fading,

Etching or Laser Etching

When a headstone requires a more detailed image, etching is used.

Unlike engraving, which cuts about 3–4mm deep into the stone, etching, or laser etching,
removes just the polished surface.
This creates a smooth, high-contrast effect that allows for much finer detail.

Hand Etching

Hand Etching

Hand-etched work is ideal for those looking for a
truly one-of-a-kind design.
It requires a high level of artistic skill
that only a few possess.

To ensure the best visibility,
this technique must be done on black granite.

Laser Etching

Using photographs supplied - the image is etched into the surface using a laser etching machine.

This must be done on black granite to ensure visibility.
